How it Works

An Overview:
The GolfBridge Company is a network to help junior golfers improve their game and market their talent to college golf programs. Golfers track their statistics on line building an electronic resume that is easily accessed by team members, coaches and parents. The GolfBridge program helps golfers ready themselves for the college recruiting process. College coaches want talent, no doubt. However, finding talent with the depth of character they require is a task that can be extremely daunting.  The GolfBridge Company provides juniors with the tools to communicate their character, academics and golf statistics like no other program.  We help coaches find the players who are willing to sell out for success!

How the Program Works for High School Coaches:
The GolfBridge Program enables you to register all your players so that you can track and analyze their statistics and provide the right guidance.  You will need their names and email addresses if you are registering them or they can register themselves and link with you from within their profile.  The program gives you the ability to create "MyTeam."   Through "MyTeam", you can organize team practice sessions, communicate with team members and monitor statistics to assist with teaching strategies.  The messaging system we created gives you the opportunity to connect with other coaches and teaching professionals.  You also can build new communication pipelines with college coaches across the country giving your team members every opportunity to connect with the right college golf program.  You too have the opportunity to showcase your high school program and build a personal profile.  Sharing information can give you the edge when it comes to building your golf program and growing your high school team into the next power house in your division!

How the Program Works for Golfers:
After you register, you will receive a Welcome email and an Activation email. Go to the link in the Activation email, then log in at www.mygolfbridge.com.  Once your account is activated, you may build a personal profile including areas to write information about your academic, community and golf achievements.  Upload photos and videos to give college coaches a visual perspective of your ability.  Prospecting is tough for college coaches because they cannot see everyone they want due to time constraints and travel expenses.  The highest level of importance is placed on you so be sure to build your profile with as much content as you can.  Be accurate and truthful.  Showcase not only your talent as a golfer but your character as an individual.  GolfBridge surveyed college coaches to gain insight into what they require from GolfBridge.  The information we received indicated that talent is not always difficult to find, however talent with character and the willingness to "sell out" to do what it takes to play golf in college is extremely difficult.  Use this information when selecting your photos and the videos you upload as these are your "first impressions" to the world of collegiate golf.

Built into our program is the ability to link with your current coach and/or teaching professional.  We encourage you to link with them so they can monitor your stats and make accurate suggestions for your practice time.  Your statistics are viewable to them through your profile or from the "Compare Stats" button on the home page.  Use our messaging system to communicate with your coach and/or teaching pro to keep them informed of your practice schedule or let them know of specific areas of your game to watch for your next lesson.  Our "Golf Affiliates" tab is your link to the rest of the world of golf.  Within this area, you will find all the people involved with GolfBridge.  This area will change frequently as we add additional associations and organizations who mirror our passion for golf.

How the Program Works for College Coaches:
After you register, you will be able to build your personal profile and showcase your college golf program.  We invite you to share information such as the requirements to compete in your program, the commitment you require and what it takes to play on the college level.  We surveyed college coaches from across the country and built GolfBridge to answer the requests of those coaches.  Please utilize our communication system to contact coaches, teaching professionals and juniors (as NCAA guidelines permit) and let them know you are watching.  We believe it starts with you, the college coach.  Show off your program; keep juniors informed of the happenings in your school.  Most importantly, connect with the world of junior golf like never before through GolfBridge!
